How Soul Bowls Are Made
No molds. No rules. No two alike.
Each Soul Bowl begins as a flat slab of porcelain clay, hand-cut and shaped by feel—not formula. I press textures into the surface using custom tools, then intuitively coax the form to life. There’s no fixed design—only response. The bowl takes shape as I listen with my hands.
Once formed, I layer glazes using a mix of techniques—painting, splashing, dipping, and pouring—until rich, flowing patterns emerge. The result is a surface alive with movement and contrast, both inside and out.
